Comprehensive essay coaching is based on length of prompt and are all one time fees. The common app prompt is a 650 word maximum which falls into the $500 range. The other lengths are for supplementals or shorter essays your student may encounter. Comprehensive services involve anything your student needs from selecting a prompt to brainstorming, outlining, drafting, revising, and finalizing the copy. We work through a very structured Google Docs process that affords your teen enough guidance and support with the flexibility to work around their own schedule.
This service critiques a draft of the Common App essay OR supplemental essay in good standing! Dr. Coppi will provide enough rounds of feedback/edits to which your student will implement, and then Dr. Coppi will ensure it's where it needs to be by the end. In the case an essay needs more than a final set of eyes, Dr. Coppi will reach back out to the client before beginning any work to reassess any necessary additional fees or cancellation of service.
For students who are deferred, a letter of continued interest will enhance a second look at an application. There is an additional prompting sheet I will provide with requirements for this
Sometimes a teacher or coach requests a mock up letter for them to sign. This is that service. Dr. Coppi will ask a few questions to ensure a comprehensive letter is created that will suit the student’s needs as well as be comfortable for a professional to sign.
Dr. Coppi will review the 150 character count (with spaces) requirement for activity summaries, including editing down to meet character count requirements and re-organizing the list for emphasis. This process involves prioritizing based on major, commitment, passion and values. In addition, Dr. Coppi cross-references various entries to help you make the most of the limited summary space available.

This ONE TIME FEE entitles you to Dr. Coppi's services from 10th-12th grade to create a comprehensive college list including 5 safety, 5 target, and 5 reach schools based on current/developing HS stats and future collegiate intentions.
Denied from a college? Dismissed from your major? Under investigation from the ACT? Need to reevaluate your ED acceptance? Sometimes there is an option to appeal. We will assess the parameters for a legitimate appeal and move forward with a successfully crafted letter of appeal.
The Common App has an Extenuating Circumstances mini statement, Additional Information mini statement and a mini statement about moving high schools. If your family experienced any of these, feel free to reach out to review each one at the price listed.

Performing Arts Majors (actors, directors, designers, etc.) may be required to prepare for interviews, portfolios, contrasting monologue/16-32 bar cuts, artistic statements, interviews, etc. Dr. Coppi assists with prepping/evaluating your materials as a comprehensive artistic review package.
Visual Arts Majors may be required to prepare portfolios with requirements for specific pieces, captions, letters to the reader and/or an artistic statement. Dr. Coppi's husband (NYS certified K-12 art teacher with college arts application experience / student portfolio support) assists with gathering/evaluating your materials as a successful portfolio and Dr. Coppi works with you on the written components.
Typically for 10th-11th graders looking for summer/break opportunities. Dr. Coppi builds a list of extracurricular activities based on your specifications. Inquire for specifics.
